Don’t Chase Perfection First
All the great minds do it.
After publishing my first newsletter and receiving a lot of warm compliments, putting out the second piece became somewhat scary. The title and idea behind the first newsletter came with the season at the time of writing, and there was an experience and story to write about.
Now, in January, I was stuck in a rabbit hole—what do I write about? What do I base my newsletters on? What would people want to read? How do I become good at this?. All theses questions kept ringing in my head, then I came to the resolve of not making excuses for myself—a newsletter needed to go out regardless!
I got to reconnect and conversate with an amazing person I met a while back and our somewhat random conversations played a big role to why I finally started writing this. The reality is, no one's going to read it anyway, so I might as well just publish it and get it done with.
I finally decided to base these letters off ME, MYSELF, and I! — its a subject I’ve known my whole life yet i’m still learning and discovering new things about. These newsletters will be based on my thoughts and discoveries about myself over time.
Founders are Dumb
Behind every product, there is an urge to solve a problem or what someone believes to be a problem. Blockchain and Web3, is decentralized and that gives the freedom to build and interact with whatever and however you see appropriate, we get to see a lot of authentic and real problem-solving products launch and a some are still being built. On the other side of the coin, we also see even more recycled and somewhat redundant and rinsed products being launched.
Most projects out there try to solve a problem they create or what they believe to be a problem, just looking through a pinhole, further diversifying this ecosystem but failing to make any serious or meaningful impact.
In my opinion, interoperability is the next milestone to be tackled in the ecosystem. If everyone keeps building without taking into account the relevance of what has already been built, then the future we envision will remain in the future. We would be crashing down in bright and neon colors, where a mesh-connected society would remain a myth!
Remember that you’re building for much more than ourselves. The future should be without limits or constraints—borderless, secure, and interoperable. That’s the only true way we can achieve mass adoption of the divine concept of decentralization. Without interoperability, we continue to live under different dimensions of limitations and borders—not created by the government but by ourselves—standing against the core foundation of the crypto mother, Bitcoin.

Failing Fast; Don’t Chase Perfection First
Reaching a certain level of perfection in all that we do is more of a subconscious action. From writing the perfect article to submitting the perfect project, cooking the perfect meal, having the perfect life—you name it—our pursuit for perfection is subconscious and endless, often instilled in us by external factors like our culture, society, and upbringing. Perfection comes from a set of external standards that can differ from person to person and scenario to scenario. In the pursuit of perfection, we also breed procrastination and limit our endless potential because we constantly make reference to a standard.
The subconscious route we all take to perfection involves taking as much time as possible to pay attention to details, creating the perfect scenario—which I believe to be impossible. This route is quite contrary to what I believe in. Instead of waiting to create the perfect scenario, we should let the perfect scenario present itself in its own time, with all its perfection made perfect.
Is perfection attainable? Yes, most definitely. That’s where failing fast comes in. The concept of failing fast is by far the only logical route to “perfection”.
All living organisms are adaptive by nature—we see it in every aspect of life. Humans, animals, and even the Earth as a whole is constantly changing to fit current scenarios. When we fail fast, information is gathered, analyzed, and implemented at such an alarming rate that we may never even notice— it’s all done by the subconscious mind. The same mind that reminds us to breathe, swallow, think and react.
Have a quick reminiscence about great individuals, and I promise you’ll find the concept of failing fast tied to their success. We’ve seen the concept of failing fast everywhere! A slogan like “Just Do It” is a perfect example—it holds all you need to attain any level of success.
Conclusion
We are all living for the first time. No one has a manual to life; no one has actually done anything before. We are all faking it.
'Fake it till you make it' is no joke—all the great minds do it. The one key difference is: it's not just limited to your imagination. It also calls for your action(s). Acting in accordance to your delusion would go a long way toward making it a reality, especially in the pursuit of any form of success.
