Who's The Man In The Mirror?
You are your greatest enemy
If this is your first time reading my newsletters, I advise you to take a look at the previous letters, "2024: The Year I Turned Pretty” and "Don’t Chase Perfection: All Great Minds Do It.” These letters are documentaries of my experiences over time leading up to this newsletter.
The past couple of months have been a mix of emotions. I’ve had to deal with school and personal issues that have consumed my time and caused me to break an effective routine on multiple occasions. Personally, everything has been good; I’ve been performing at a satisfactory level, but for me, satisfactory is unacceptable. What happened to being exceptional? My dream life requires me to be exceptional in most, if not all, fields. I started writing this letter on April 14, and two months later, on June 3, I’m still writing. This shows how far from greatness I am right now. The fight for discipline and consistency is where I’m at now. I’ve had an amazing workflow before, and I enjoyed every bit of it. Since then, I’ve slowly chipped and chiseled away at that structure and routine, and now it’s only a mirage of what it used to be. Trying to resurrect to the flow I once had is one of the hardest mental battles I’m currently facing.
April was a month of rediscovery for me. I had discover who was the man in discover the mirror on my bad days. I suffered a huge loss on a major investment, that set me back a few steps. That one loss caused more psychological damage than I expected, and I found myself stuck in the same orbit. Slowly, I lost belief in my ability to achieve the goals I had set for the year after that setbacks. Self-doubt began to creep in.
I feel like I could do more, and I know I need to do more. It’s a place where there’s so much to accomplish, but I’m not taking action.
Through April, I've been able to discover who the man in the mirror really is. It's always in my nature to learn from bad experiences to gain better control and understanding of the situation, following the principle of cause and effect. In every bad or unwanted situation I find myself in (the effect), I believe I have a part to play that led to the situation I'm in right now (the cause). The letter would have had a completely different tone if I had been smarter with that investment. I let greed and overplanning get the best of me. In the deep, dark part of my consciousness, there was a part of me that's screaming with joy that I made a loss, just another experience to learn from. I feel like I could do more, and I know I needed to do more. It's a place where there's so much to accomplish, but I'm not taking action

One step closer to a complete dox
My goal from the beginning of the year was to go full-time in Web3, in every sense: a full-time workload and paycheck, becoming a core team member of a well-driven, disciplined, and funded Web3 project as a Business Development, Partnership Manager, Marketing Lead, or Operations Manager. Alongside that, I aim to become a smarter and more profitable investor. I’ve always believed in letting your money work for you. Even if I’m far from my ideal persona, I have a clear-cut plan to get there by following the 1% Rule. Nothing happens overnight; every moment of success or failure is an implementation of the 1% Rule. The 1% Rule is about compounding habits and minor changes that create major effects. The decline from my peak state of performance was merely a practical example of the 1% Rule. I’ve experienced the negative effects of the 1% Rule, and now I understand it. I’m about to reverse-engineer it to make the greatest comeback. Live each day as a lifetime; every daily decision shapes you. Tiny decisions, good or bad, shape the person you are / will become. Don’t like where you are? It’s a result of your daily decisions
The greatest attribute any human can is have Discipline, the universe doesn’t reward the disciplined, it obeys them.
This newsletter is about seeing and understanding the reflection, bringing back consciousness to achieve my goals, and putting in the reps to get there. I already have a clear-cut plan for what to do and how I plan to achieve it, and I’ll be sharing that in the following newsletters. I’m currently at a higher low, and based on the history of BTC, we are heading to higher highs from here! Thank you for reading. See you in the next newsletter.
Love,
Warlord.
